Dara Kahane

Dara is proud to be returning for her 7th season in the role of Camp Director and 12th summer at Bayview Glen Day Camp. Anyone who has had the opportunity to speak with Dara over the years will quickly appreciate why she is such a great leader for the Bayview Glen Day Camp team. Dara's wealth of professional experience, strong attention to detail, belief in open communication and problem solving approach are a just a few of the qualities that she brings to her role. Her vision of continually improving Bayview Glen Day Camp's program each summer has led to the successful launch of BVG Sports & BVG Arts. A Special Education Resource Teacher when not at camp, and a proud mother of three, Dara is the ideal person for her position.

We are thrilled to have Ricko back at camp for his 12th summer and first as Assistant Camp Director. His strong leadership, dedication and deep understanding of camp programming make him a perfect fit. In addition to his role as Assistant Camp Director, Rick will continue to manage the camp's hiring process. His communication skills, high energy level, enthusiasm and experience give us the confidence that our staff will continue to meet your high expectations. Rick is also available to help answer any questions you may have as the summer of 2012 approaches.

Being involved in the camping community her whole life, Stacie loves being part of such a dynamic team. Her enthusiasm and 'zest for life' brings a fantastic aspect to our office year round. With her legal background and years of office experience, she continually maintains an organized environment while at the same time, always thinks of fresh and fun new ideas to make each summer at Bayview Glen Day Camp even greater than the last. Stacie's love of people, her spunky personality and being a devoted mother of two, makes her an amazing and fun asset to our management team. Sarmad Rafi

Sarmad is a recent graduate student from the University of Toronto.Currently, he is in the midst if writing his CA exam. He joined our camp office as a financial administrator and processing online registrations and payments for all the campers. As this is his first year experience in a summer camp, he is really excited to be part of the team and is looking forward to meeting new and exciting people. With his experience and knowledge in accounting, we are really glad to have him on our team. During the summer, he will be working at the camp office handling all the financial related issues and making sure everything is done in an accurate and organized fashion.
