Hi everyone, my name is Adam and I’m so excited to be coming back to camp this summer for my fourth year as Hippo Unit Head. I am currently completing my first year at Windsor Law School, and so I can’t wait for the summer to start and ensure that your children have their best camp experience yet.

After six years at BVG, I have never been more excited for summer! Having the privilege of being the Lynx Unit Head last summer, I know that the upcoming season will be safe, exciting, fun and a great way for campers to grow. While I’ll be going to teachers’ college, I still love the camp spirit, so I can be a kid again.

Hi, I’m Alex. I am thrilled to be heading up the Sunshine Unit with Nicole this summer. I am very passionate about the program and am excited to be a part of the Bayview Glen staff. I’m looking forward to meeting you and all of your wonderful children. I can’t wait for the summer to begin. I know it is going to be so much fun!

Hi, my name is Ali and I will be helping co-ordinate the special days this summer. This year will be my second on Head Staff and my 17th at Bayview Glen. Last summer, I was the Monkey Unit Head and I am very excited to branch out to help all areas of camp. I can’t wait to see you all this summer!

Hi, I’m Becca and I will be the Jaguar Unit Head for BVG Summer 2009! This will be my fifth summer at Bayview Glen and my second as a member of the Head Staff team. I am so excited for the summer to arrive so I can reconnect with returning campers and have the opportunity to meet new ones!

I can’t wait for another fantastic summer as a member of the Head Staff Team. This is my seventh summer at BVG and I have had the opportunity to experience many different areas of camp. The fun never stops, and I know that this summer will be no exception. During the year, I am a Grade 7/8 teacher.

Hi everyone! I’m stepping into a new role for my second year on Head Staff, and am excited to see camp from a new perspective. I’m elated to be returning to camp for my sixth summer and I can’t wait to work with everyone new and old.

Hello, I’m Carey. I am extremely happy and excited to be back at camp for my fourth summer and first as a Pool Head. I’m ready to have my best summer yet and to gain lots of leadership experience from my fellow Head Staff Team. It will be a tremendous summer and I’m looking forward to seeing each of your children at the pool.

Hi, I’m Carrie and am glad to be back at BVG for my fourth summer, second in the Office. After graduating from teachers college in May, I have spent this past year working as a supply teacher with the Toronto District Board and enjoy being able to work with children. This summer I am excited to be working in the office again and look forward to the excitement the summer brings.

I could have never imagined that working at BVG last summer for my first time would lead to this. It’s an honour to be part of the Head Staff Team this year. I have been attending Western for the past three years with a double major in Psychology and Business. I attended Camp Wahanowin for the past 14 years and I can’t wait to make many more camp memories this summer.

Hey Tigers! I’m Corinne and am so excited to be returning in my role as one of the Tiger Unit Heads for 2009. This will be my eighth summer at BVG. As I complete my final year at McGill, I am looking forward to the summer when I get to meet and reunite with both new and returning campers. See you all soon, can’t wait!

Hey everyone! I’m Dave and when I’m not poolside, I’m a second year student at McGill University who is eagerly awaiting the start of his tenth incredible summer at BVG! The pool at BVG has always been a safe and fun place to escape the heat while playing with friends or perfecting your front crawl. I can’t wait to see all of our returning campers as well as some new faces by the pool!

Hi everyone! My name is Debbie and this is my sixth summer at camp. Having been a staff member for many years, I am thrilled to be part of the Head Staff Team this summer. I am fortunate to take on the roll as Cheetah Unit Head along with Corey. Together, we are excited to give campers the summer they’ve been waiting for! Can’t wait to see you all this summer and happy camping!

Hi! My name is Heather and I’m coming back for my fifth summer at BVG and I could not be more excited! This summer will be my second on Head Staff and I will be one of the Panda Unit Heads. I started at BVG five years ago in Pandas and cannot wait to be part of the best unit at camp once again! I can’t wait to meet all the Pandas and share an incredible summer with them!

I am very excited to return to BVG for my fifth summer. I look forward to the start of camp every year. Camp is an amazing place where everyone feels safe and has tons of fun and I am proud to be a part of the BVG team. I am currently finishing a Master’s degree at OISE/UT and completing an internship in a kindergarten class.

This will be my 17th summer at Bayview Glen and I am thrilled to be back as Transportation Director. I take great pride in ensuring the safe arrival & departure of our campers in a fun and spirited environment. During the year, I work in the BVG Finance Office and study accounting at York University. I can’t wait for another memorable summer!

Jennifer is ecstatic to be back at camp for her fifth summer at BVG! Jen’s former camp career spans 10 years as a camper and counsellor. Currently in her 15th year of teaching special education, Jen brings a variety and depth of experience working with children of all ages and abilities.
Jess Spring • Junior Camp Supervisor
I am thrilled to be returning for my second summer as Junior Camp Supervisor! When not at camp, I am studying to become an elementary Music teacher. Bayview Glen is a place where children have an opportunity to make new friends, try new things and create unforgettable memories. After nine years at BVG, there is nowhere else that I could imagine spending my summers.

This will be my ninth summer as swim staff, second summer at Bayview Glen, and first summer as Head Staff. My favourite thing about the summer is being outside at a swimming pool, and I can’t wait for the summer to start. See you all soon.

Hi BVG, my name is Jonathan and I am excited to be back on the Head Staff Team for the summer of 2009 as the Monkey Unit Head! During the school year, you can find me at Colgate University in the States where I am currently in my first year. I cannot wait for another summer season to begin and look forward to making the Monkey Unit one of the best at camp!

Hi everyone! My name is Laura and I am going to be the Monkey Unit Head this summer! I have returned to BVG for the past 11 summers, however, this will be my first summer in Junior Camp and I could not be more excited! I am currently completing my senior year at CHAT and cannot wait for the summer to start!

Li is excited to be returning for her eighth summer at BVG and her fourth summer in the office. As busy Special Education teacher during the year with the Toronto District School Board, she looks forward to putting her camp hat back on come June. Li is eagerly awaiting the first day of camp and can’t wait to see you all soon!

Hello BVG families! My name is Maddy, and after seven summers at BVG I am thrilled to be joining the Head Staff Team. As a former camper and counselor, I have faced new challenges and formed life-long friendships at BVG, and cannot wait to share the magic of camp with the Hippo Unit this summer!

Hey BVG families! My name is Michelle and I couldn’t be happier to make my return to camp as the Koala Unit Head for my 2nd consecutive summer. For many of your children, this upcoming summer will be their very first at a camp and I can’t wait to be a part of their summer experience as they begin to discover new and exciting activities.

Hi, I’m Rebecca and although this is my first summer at Bayview Glen, I’ve been involved in theatre and camp my whole life. I especially loved running the theatre program at Camp Kadimah in 2006! I can’t wait to be a part of the Head Staff Team and head up the theatre, music and dance program for summer 2009! Get ready for two amazing RoleCall Theatre productions!
