For Campers Born in 2004-2008
Junior Camp programming is geared to the specific developmental requirements of 2- to 6-year-olds. Our counsellors are carefully selected for an ability to foster young children’s development. Many have experience in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or are interested in pursuing ECE. Our staff-to-junior-camper ratio of 1:3 ensures your child’s safe enjoyment. As this is often a child’s first camp experience, we communicate regularly with parents about their child’s adjustment to camp life. One of the highlights of Junior Camp is the opportunity to participate in a “Mock” Overnight.
Our junior campers are assigned to sections which are then sub-divided into age-appropriate groups of approximately 12 children. Koala and Panda groups keep boys and girls together while Monkey and Hippo groups are separated into separate boys and girls groups.

KOALA FAMILY LUNCH
During the July session we invite Koala family members to come and join the Koala campers and staff for a tasty lunch. Koala campers love to take this opportunity to “show off” their camp to their families and introduce them to their counsellors.
NEW FOR 2010 - BVG Sports for Hippos After a successful ‘taste’ of BVG Sports Camp in 2009 for our Hippo Campers (born 2004),
we are now pleased to open it up each week for our oldest Junior Campers – Hippos.
