Each day, campers enjoy a freshly prepared, nutritious lunch, and healthy snacks are provided twice daily. Menus will be sent home describing lunch fare, which includes kid favourites such as chicken fingers, cheese pizza, subs, pasta, fresh bagels with cream cheese, assorted sandwiches, hot dogs and hamburgers. Vegetarian and Kosher options are also available. Campers are grouped by program in our air-conditioned lunchroom.

Picnic and barbeque lunches are also held throughout the summer. On these days, campers groups will eat outdoors and will not eat the regular lunch indicated on the menu. (Barbeques are indicated on the individual cabin schedules.)

PLEASE NOTE: We are very flexible and do our best to accommodate any dietary restriction and/or allergy. While it is impossible to create a completely risk-free environment, we take steps to minimize allergic food reactions. We do not provide peanuts, peanut butter or peanut products to any of our campers at lunch or for snacks. Campers are not permitted to bring food from home unless special arrangements have been made with the Director or the nurses from our health centre.

This summer, we are proud to participate in the innovative and exciting CAMPLING™ program. Through partnership with National brands, this program helps us provide a greater quantity and variety of snacks, beverages and resources to your children during the camp season. Throughout the season, communication pieces from the partners may periodically be sent home with your children. Through the CAMPLING™ Fund, a portion of all proceeds from this program will help send underprivileged kids to our camp and other camps this season. During last year’s launch of the program, the CAMPLING™ Fund helped send 40 children to camp for a total of 60 weeks. CAMPLING™ was developed and is executed by Mama Media Inc. Mama Media works with National Brands to develop innovative concepts across the disciplines of media planning and buying, event marketing, sponsorships and sampling programs.
